It’s an awful feeling: money gone from your bank, balance unchanged. In almost every case, it’s a delay rather than a loss. Here’s the order we’d check things.
1. Did the payment actually succeed?
Open the transaction in PhonePe, Google Pay or Paytm. “Success” with a UTR means the money left your bank. “Pending” means your bank hasn’t finished — wait for it to settle.
2. Give it a little time
| 0–10 minutes | Normal |
|---|---|
| 10–30 minutes | Bank confirmation is slow |
| 30+ minutes | Time to contact support |
3. Find the UTR
The 12-digit number labelled UTR, UPI Ref No. or Transaction ID is what support uses to trace your payment. Screenshot it.
4. Send one clear message
In DiuWin customer care chat, send: your registered number, the amount, the time, the UTR and the screenshot. One complete message gets a faster answer than several short ones.
What not to do
- Don’t pay again “to push it through”.
- Don’t send money to a UPI ID someone gives you in chat.
- Don’t share your UPI PIN with anyone.
Why deposits get delayed
| Bank confirmation lag | Your bank takes longer to confirm the transfer |
|---|---|
| Gateway queue | Busy times slow the payment processor |
| Wrong amount | Paying a different amount than the order can stop auto-matching |
| Expired order | Paying after the order timer ended |
The last two are avoidable: pay the exact amount shown, and pay within the time limit on the payment page.
If the money never arrives
If support can’t match the payment, UPI’s own dispute process applies: raise a complaint in your UPI app using the UTR. Banks usually resolve failed transfers by reversing them to your account.
