You open DiuWin, type your number and password, and… nothing. Or an error. Or the spinner that never stops. Before you panic or message anyone, try these in order. Most people are back in before the third one.
Minute 1: make sure it’s the real site
DiuWin uses several numbered domains, and copycats register near-identical ones. A copy site will reject your “wrong password” forever because your account simply doesn’t exist there. Open the official DiuWin login or your installed app instead of a random search result.
Minute 2: fix the number format
Ten digits. No +91, no leading zero, no spaces. Phones love to autofill the long version — delete it and type the number yourself.
Minute 3: reset instead of guessing
Several wrong attempts can trigger a short lock. Stop guessing and use the OTP reset in the forgot password guide — it takes a minute.
Minute 4: rescue the OTP
- Wait a full 60 seconds before resending.
- Look in the SMS app’s spam/blocked folder.
- Dual SIM? Check the inbox for the right SIM.
- Weak signal? Step outside or toggle airplane mode.
Minute 5: network, cache, VPN
Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or the reverse), clear the browser cache for the site, and turn off any VPN or aggressive ad blocker. Then try the app if you were on the browser — or the browser if you were on the app.

How to recognise a copy site
Copy sites often add words like bonus, vip or free to the domain, push a huge sign-up offer, or ask for your OTP after you’ve logged in. If any of that happens, close the tab and use the app.
